Food was absolutely delicious and authentic. Smoothies were a great surprise too that we loved! Outdoor patio seating was nice and clean. Overall a great experience.
From the moment you walk in the door, the amazing aroma hits you making it hard to decide on which dish to try. The owners were extremely warm and welcoming. We opted for the shawarma platter with the lentil rice. It was served with a side salad, humus and condiments… AND let me tell you…. It did not disappoint! 10/10. For the finishing touch we had baklava and that was also delish. The price for the quality and quantity of food is amazing. Highly recommend.
I love this place. Trumbull is lucky to have such good Middle East food. The owner is so kind and it’s clear it is family fun and food is made with care and love. It might seem casual but that doesn’t mean u can’t come out for a fantastic sit down dinner. Definitely well executed food. I am part Lebanese and have a life time of eating this food. So trust me when I say it’s good
We stopped by Abis Falafel by chance today, and oh boy am I glad we did. Honest to God, in my opinion they have some of the best falafel and hummus wraps I’ve ever had. The lamb kabob was incredibly juicy and moist, and the hummus with the fresh bread was packed with flavor in every bite. Even the fries had some of the best seasoning — absolutely addictive. Everything tasted fresh, authentic, and made with care. We will definitely be returning, and I 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for a real taste of Middle Eastern food!
This place was a bit out of the way on our move today, and I am SO glad we decided to stop by for dinner. This is hands down one of the best restaurants of its kind I have ever eaten at! The food is plentiful and absolutely flavorful. We ordered abi's Mixed Grill so we could try a bit of everything, and it was all delicious. Service was great as well. Music was fun. It was worth the detour and the wait!
Warmly greeted right upon entering the restaurant. Amazing beef shawarma and fries freshly made and unbelievably seasoned, you’d feel you travelled to Middle Eastern! I’m a foodie and this is the best by far of shawarma and falafel I’ve tasted! I enjoyed every bits of it! Great view and ambiance! Owner is absolutely wonderful and personable. We would definitely visit again and bring friends next time!
Absolutely blown away by the food. It was fresh and the salmon was cooked to perfection. The pita bread was warm and delicate. I’ve never been a fan of hummus but even the hummus was amazing. I sat in and the service and atmosphere was so welcoming. Super clean. Super tasty. This place is almost 40 minutes from me, but it was worth the drive. I’ll be back asap.

Excellent experience here at Abi’s falafel! The owner really cares about his restaurant and exhibits a really great attitude. I have only been here one other time and the atmosphere was the same. Bright l, energetic, filled with customers who are regulars calling them by name; it really is a community staple in Trumbull for a good, healthy, quick bite! Palestinian cuisine is my personal favorite and when l tell you this place is 10/10 l mean it’s absolutely delicious. The food is so fresh and flavorful and the place smells amazing with the flavors. Very friendly atmosphere and Johnnie treats you like a family! I had a falafel platter and it bursted with the flavor. The portions are also very generous! So glad we have this gem spot in CT! ❤️❤️
